a fl at surface as near to the water source as possible,
leaving enough space round it to be able to install, oper-
ate and perform maintenance safely.
b) We recommend using vibration-damping supports on the
surface it is fastened to/rests against on the fl oor and
on the surface it is fastened to/rests against on the wall
(bolted on to the 4 external feet, pos. 33 fi g. 4).
c) Connect up the set by applying a threaded manifold or 3-
way M/F coupling on the suction port, and a nipple or 3-
way F/F coupling (e.g. pos. 51-52 fi g. 4) on the discharge
port, or vibration-damping couplings on both directly.
d) Remove the plug from the drain hole in the bottom (pos.
5 or 6 fi g. 5) - you can apply an elbow fi tting (
e) We recommend using vibration-damping couplings on
the suction and discharge lines with relevant isolating
valves.
f) Supports, fi xing systems, piping and other components
of the system must be independent from the set so that
they do not generate additional loads or stress on the
cabinet booster.
h) Other positioning systems can be used to meet the us-
er's needs, the important thing being, whatever the case,
to respect the safety criteria of the fi nal assembly in gen-
eral (when fi tting on machines or systems).
9.3. WALL BUILT-IN VERSION (diagrams fi g. 8-9-10-11-12)
a) Make sure the wall you plan to use is a load-bearing wall
or that the brickwork is at least 300 mm thick.
b) Make a recess in the wall big enough to take the set (see
connections and dimensions fi g. 5) with the aid of the
cardboard drill and installation template supplied (in-
cluded in the packaging). You can even leave the tem-
plate inside with the set installed. We recommend a max.
height of 50-60 cm off the fl oor to make installing and
maintaining the set easier.
c) Hollow out the wall to accommodate any piping and
plumbing accessories that need to be recessed using
commercially available junction boxes (they can be sup-
plied on request sized 450x450x200).
d) Hollow out the wall to accommodate the switch box,
where applicable, and relevant raceway to run the cables
through (e.g. pos. 13 fi g. 8).
e) Produce an addition recess at the bottom to accommo-
date an elbow (

ter/condensate drain hole in the bottom of the cabinet
(hole pos. 5 or 6 fi g.5/ pos. 11 fi g. 8).
f) Connect up the set by applying: a threaded Male/Female
manifold or 3-way M/F coupling on the suction port, and
a Female manifold or 3-way F/F coupling on the dis-
charge port (e.g. pos. 51-52 fi g. 4).
g) We recommend using vibration-damping couplings on
the suction and discharge lines with relevant isolating
valves, which can be inserted in suitable junction boxes,
available commercially or ordered from us (e.g. pos. 6
fi g. 8).
h) Supports, fi xing systems, piping and other components
of the system must be independent from the set so that
they do not generate additional loads or stress on the
cabinet booster, and fi tted externally or embedded in
the wall.
i) Apply 4 M10 high-strength anchor bolts, using the cen-
tre-to-centre distances indicated on the cardboard tem-
plate, and also applying a chemical anchor system with
anchor sleeves. Wait the prescribed amount of time for
the chemical anchor system to set (the side holes in the

j) Remove the two plastic caps on the cabinet plugging the
connection pipe inlet and outlet, the electric cable entry
cap, and drain plug in the bottom. Insert the booster set,
using appropriate means (pump-operated mini crane) or
manually (at least two operators) to raise it to the level
of the recess made so that it rests on the bottom shelf
of the recess. Move the cabinet all the way in so that
the 4 previously anchored bolts enter the 4 holes in the
external anchor feet (pos. 10 fi g. 5). Hold the cabinet in
this position manually while you fasten it fully (no preset
torque required) with 4 high-strength M10 nuts. This will
anchor the set securely to the wall.

connect the set's suction and discharge ports; the fi tting

nection; and a
(pos. 11 fi g. 8).
l) Inject self-extinguishing polyurethane foam, or similar
building trade product, in the gap around the booster set
between its cabinet and the recess, being careful not to
let it cement the fi ttings and connection manifolds, which
must be able to be removed from the suction and dis-
charge ports. Wait for the prescribed amount of time for
the product used to set.
m) Finish the wall with plaster.

10. WIRING

WARNING
WARNING
Consult the wiring diagrams and instructions indicated in
the manuals PART 1, PART 2 and the HERTZ ONE controller
board manual.
Fit the system with a Class A 30mA residual current circuit
breaker protected against nuisance tripping, with a 0.5 sec
tripping time, referring to the safety conditions indicated in
section 3 herein.
Fit "AM" fuses as follows to protect the power supply line
against short-circuits: 25 A AM capacity, measuring 10x38,
or thermomagnetic circuit breaker with same specifi cations.

10.1. HERTZ ONE CONTROLLER BOARD

As soon as system pressure drops below the setpoint value
chosen, the HERTZ ONE controller (in versions with two sin-
gle-phase pumps fi g.2, fi g.3) starts the motor-driven pump
controlled by the inverter (the board measures pressure in
the system by means of a transmitter and keeps pressure
constant with an error of no more than 0.1 bar in non-transi-
tory states).
The controller controls the motor-driven pump's speed to

NB: WIRING MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY A
QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
The wiring diagram inside the board provides the
necessary instructions for achieving the functions
the board was designed for. The power mains must
have an efficient earthing system according to the
electrical standards in force in your country and
suited to the type of system connected: it is the
installer's responsibility to ensure said standards
are met.
Earth the equipment before starting any work. To
connect the equipment to the power mains, pro-
cure IEC-standard power cables with a cross-sec-
tion suitable for the specifications of the pressure
booster set and system.
