Using your induction hob

Starting cooking
Touch the On / Off button and the hob will beep once, the
timer will show "00" and the cooking zone selector will
display " " or " " or " ". The hob is in standby and ready to
use.
Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone that you wish to
use.
Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface of the
cooking zone are clean and dry.
Touch the cooking zone selector and a "0" will flash in the
display.
Adjust the power using the slider control.
• Ensure you choose a power level within one minute of
switching on the hob.
• The power level can be adjusted at any time.
If the display flashes
• you have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone or,
• the pan you're using is not suitable for induction cooking or,
• the pan is too small or not properly located on the cooking zone.
Note: Unless there is a suitable pan correctly placed on a cooking zone, the hob will not operate and automatically switch
off after one minute.
