DIN Radio Provision

1. Cut and remove the shaft supports from
the Spacer* and Radio Housing. Place the
converted Spacer into the Housing.
2. Remove the metal DIN sleeve and trim ring
from the aftermarket radio.
3. Slide the DIN cage into the kit and secure by
bending the metal locking tabs down.
4. Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage until
it clicks into place. (Figure A)
5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash.
Metra recommends using the proper mating
adapter from Metra or AXXESS.
6. Reconnect the negative battery terminal
and test the aftermarket radio for proper
operation.
7. Mount the aftermarket radio assembly into the
sub-dash with the factory screws previously
removed. (Figure B)
Note: For the Malibu, use the center mounting
positions.
8. Reassemble the dash in the reverse order of
disassembly to complete the installation.
