7. Connect the valve to the transformer and connect
this to the electrical power socket.
8. Connect the water softener's drainage exit to the
drainage network in the place where you are
carrying out the installation. Never install the draina-
ge line directly to a grid, sewer or syphon. Always
leave an air gap between the drainage line and the
residual water to avoid this being returned to the
water softener.

9. Also place a tube from the overflow outlet to the
drainage (drainage line), to avoid a possible flood in
case of incorrect programming, or a water leak due
to inadequate assembly, or valve failure. The draina-
ge level should be below the overflow outlet.

IMPORTANT: You must not connect the
overflow outlet to the exit tube of the drainage
valve. It could cause the brine tank to acciden-
tally fill up and cause a flood. Therefore, install
two independent tubes.
10. Fill the water softener tank halfway with water.
Next, add approximately 25 kg of salt into the water
softener tank (use only special tablet salt for water
softeners).
When filling the tank with salt, be very careful not to
tip salt into the tube protecting the brine vessel.

11. Turn on a nearby cold water tap and then open
the stopcock and put the bypass valve into the
"SERVICE" position. Let the water out until the air is
removed from the water softener.
After the depressurization, check the tightness of all
the connections. Let the water flow for several
minutes to remove any residue from the pipework.
