Finally, b-01 will display. This indicates the program-
ming of auxiliary output for connection to:
· Pump.
· Additional solenoid valve during washing.
b-01
This option is useful in installations with insufficient
pressures or with external By-pass. Once can modify
b-01 option. Indicates the auxiliary output program-
ming for additional depressurization solenoid valve
connection during ceramic disk repositioning.
We recommend keeping the b-01 option and confirm
by pressing the menu / confirmation button.
Once completed, press the down button so that the
display can return to the initial position. The current
time will display.
Once the valve has been programmed, we will open
the faucet closest to the water softener and leave it
open for approximately two minutes to eliminate
possible residues (yellowish color).
MANUAL EQUIPMENT REGENERATION
The manual regen. / return button is used to
manually perform a regeneration. It is advisable to do
it once we have configured the programming of the
valve, to verify that the water softener works correctly.
The valve will follow the previously programmed
cycles until the regeneration has been completed.
One can also advance cycles manually by pressing
the regeneration key again.
When clear water begins to flow out, measure the
hardness again to adjust the water after passing
through the water softener. The hardness level is
recommended to be between 5 ºF and 10 ºF.
To adjust the ºF, once can do so using the By-pass
flyer, setting it in the corresponding place:
· Service position: Water will flow directly from the
water softener
If the hardness level is below 5ºF, open the Bypass
progressively until the water adjusts to the desired ºF.
Conduct as many verifications as needed.
Once this process has been completed, your water
softener will be programmed correctly. Keep in mind
that for proper operation, you must have enough salt
in the tank. Otherwise, hard water and lime will come
out.
In the event of failure in power supply for a period
greater than 8 hours, the regeneration programmed
time could have been modified. If this is the case, you
will have to reprogram the valve, following the instruc-
tions indicated above.
If the power failure is less than 8 hours, the program
should not suffer any problems. Nonetheless, we
recommend verifying it.
