Cleaning and disinfection
Cleaning
WARNING
Unplug the pump before cleaning. Close the small protective cover on the DC socket.
The Invia Motion NPWT pump and carrying case are for a single patient's entire therapy. Periodic cleaning is
recommended.
Wipe off with a damp cloth or use a non-abrasive detergent.
Disinfection
Invia Motion can be disinfected with the disinfecting agent group "alcohol".
Sterilization
The Invia Motion NPWT pump and accessories cannot be sterilized. The canister/tubing set is a disposable
item and may not be reused or resterilized. Replace after every use!
The Invia Motion canister/tubing set is a single patient use product and is not intended to be reprocessed.
Reprocessing may cause the loss of mechanical, chemical and/or biological characteristics.
WARNING
Reuse on another patient might cause cross contamination.
General notes
Comply with facility or institutional guidelines on hygiene and infection control. Dispose of fluids such as
blood and fluids, along with all parts contaminated with them in accordance with facility requirements.
Wear suitable gloves for cleaning/disinfection and disposal.
