8. Check battery insertion
WARNING
If the battery is inserted while the power switch
is in the ON position, the power tool will start
operating immediately, inviting serious accident.
CAUTION
Until the battery locks in place with a little click,
if not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool
causing injury to you or someone around you.
OPERATION
WARNING
During use, hold the tool body securely with
both hands.
CAUTION
● Do not put an unreasonable burden on the
tool that causes the motor to lock, such as
attempting to use hardened sealing material.
Remove hardened sealing material, as it may
cause malfunction.
● Keep your hands away from moving parts while
using the tool.
There is a risk of pinching your fi ngers.
● Wear safety glasses while working.
1. Switch operation
Pull the trigger switch to push the piston out. At fi rst,
pull the switch just a little, and start slowly. (Fig. 24)
When the switch is released, the piston will back up
slightly before stopping. This prevents the sealing
material remaining at the end of the nozzle from
dripping.
2. Dial
The dial can be used to set the maximum push-out
speed to six levels. (Fig. 25)
Use it while also adjusting the amount that the switch
is pulled to achieve the optimum speed, depending
on the hardness of the sealing material and the
temperature.

NOTE
If the cross-section of the nozzle is small (3 mm or
smaller) or if the sealing material is pushed out at a
fast speed at low temperature, there is a possibility of
sealing material leakage to the piston side.

3. How to use the LED light
While the switch is pulled, the LED light will
automatically light up the tip portion of the tool.
(Fig. 26)
The LED light will automatically turn off the switch is
released.
LED light
CAUTION
● Do not expose directly your eye to the light by
looking into the light.
If your eye is continuously exposed to the light,
your eye will be hurt.
● Wipe off any dirt or grime attached to the lens of
the LED light with a soft cloth, being careful not
to scratch the lens.
Scratches on the lens of the LED light can result
in decreased brightness.
4. Work tips
○ Start at low speed, and see how hard the sealing
material is and how well it pushes out.
The speed is controlled by the dial and the amount
that the switch is pulled.
○ Support the bottom of the holder with your hand.
○ When the sealing material adheres to the holder,
wipe it off with a cloth.
