DC-700ETH/T
- When activating the WARNING or EVACUATION buttons, each audio matrix will launch the local WARNING or
EVACUATION message assigned to it by configuration. Likewise, the destination of these pre-recorded messages will
be the EMERGENCY GROUP configured for each audio matrix. It is not necessary to select the zones manually.
- If no EMERGENCY GROUP has been assigned when configuring the audio matrix, the system will take all the zones
belonging to the matrix as an emergency group.
- If during EMERGENCY MODE you manually select zones, the voice and prerecorded announcements directed to those
zones will not be treated as emergency announcements but as normal public address announcements.
- In EMERGENCY MODE, the voice announcement takes priority over the pre-recorded EVACUATION message, which in
turn takes priority over the pre-recorded WARNING message.
- During EMERGENCY MODE only top priority prerecorded messages will be available (provided that no zones are
manually selected).
- EMERGENCY MODE propagation. The propagation of the EMERGENCY MODE depends on the type of area (GLOBAL
OR LOCAL) where the equipment that activates it is located:
o If a PC or a DC-700ETH/T belonging to a GLOBAL area activates the EMERGENCY MODE, you can choose to which
of the local areas the EMERGENCY MODE is propagated. Both the equipment of the GLOBAL area and the
equipment of the chosen LOCAL areas will go into EMERGENCY MODE (ETH desks, IP audio matrices...).
o If a DC-700ETH belonging to a GLOBAL area activates the EMERGENCY MODE, the equipment of the GLOBAL area
and of all LOCAL areas (ETH desks, IP audio matrices...) will enter EMERGENCY MODE.
o If a PC or a DC-700ETH/T belonging to a GLOBAL area terminates the emergency mode, you can choose which of
the local areas terminate the EMERGENCY MODE.
o If a DC-700ETH belonging to a GLOBAL area terminates the emergency mode, all equipment in the installation
terminates the emergency mode.
o If an equipment belonging to a LOCAL area activates the emergency mode, all the equipment of the LOCAL area
itself and the equipment of the GLOBAL area will go into emergency mode (ETH desks, IP audio matrices...).
o If a unit belonging to a LOCAL area terminates the emergency mode, the units in the same area terminate the
emergency mode.
o The equipment in the GLOBAL area terminates the emergency mode when the emergency mode is terminated in
all LOCAL areas.
