3.3.

Working with the unit

1. Connect the power cord connector (20) to the socket (18) on the back of the
unit. When the voltage of the power source is within the range of 99-121V,
move the switch (17) to 110V position, when the voltage is within the range
of 198-242V move the switch (17) to 230V position.
2. Switch on the unit by pressing the button (13). The unit display will turn on.
3. Familiarize yourself with the power parameters of the external load
connected to the power supply.
4. Set the output parameters depending on the selected operation mode
a) Constant voltage (CV mode)
- Turn the coarse adjustment knob (9) and fine adjustment knob (11) for
the current clockwise to the maximum value. Use the rotary knobs (4)
and (5) to set the preferred output voltage.
- Connect the external load, paying special attention to the correct
connection of wires (polarity) to the output terminals.
- In this mode of operation, the unit will provide the output with a
constant, preset voltage value, while the current value will vary with the
connected load. The C.V (3) LED will light up when this mode is active.
b) Constant current (CC mode).
Use knobs (4) and (5) to set the preferred voltage value. Set the current
value to the minimum value by turning the knobs (9) and (11)
counterclockwise to the maximum.
- Connect the external load, paying special attention to the correct
connection of wires (polarity) to the output terminals.
- Set the preferred amperage value by turning knobs (9) and (11)
clockwise.
- In this mode of operation, the unit will output a constant, preset
current value, while the voltage value will vary with the connected load.
The C.C. indicator (8) lights up when the mode is active.
5. Protection against overheating
If the protection is tripped, disconnect the unit from the power supply, cool it
down, and remove the cause of the protection trip. The unit can be restarted.
