10D. indicates the position of the anti-
rotation point of the child safety seat (3rd
point or top-tether).
11. the child safety seat is provided with 2
lower isofix anchor points "i" and an upper
point "t" known as the top-tether (figure
11a). Note : to find the corresponding three
points on a vehicle, read the car instruction
manual carefully. Caution: Do not confuse
the top-tether anchor with the rings
provided for securing luggage (fig. 11b).
the correct routing of the top-tether belt is
the one shown in fig. 11c (in the upper part
of the backrest and not above the headrest
).
12. check the position of the isofix anchor
points on the seat using the car instruction
manual.
13. check the position of the 3rd isofix
anchor point using the car instruction
manual. Note: according to the model of
car, the 3rd anchor point could be in a
different position (some examples are
shown in figures 13a, 13b, 13c, 13D, 13e).
FITTING the child safety seat with the
ISOFIX UNIVERSAL system GROUP I
(art.163)
14. pull out the lower anchor points by
pressing buttons t1 and t2.
15. Secure both of the lower anchor points
on the child safety seat to those in the car
(Fig. 15a). you will see that the tethers "t1"
and "t2" retract, hiding the ReD coloured
marking and showing the gReen one
instead indicating that the seat has been
secured correctly (Fig. 15b). CAUTION:
Check the child safety seat is firmly
secured to the car by pulling it with your
hands! Note: the lower isofix anchors are
adjustable so they can be adapted to
different types of car seats.
16. to ensure the back of the child safety
seat fits against the car seat backrest, just
push the child safety seat forcefully as
shown in the figure. note: take care not to
catch the top-tether between the child
safety seat and the car seat (Fig. 16b).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
17. lengthen the top-tether strap using the
belt tightening device as shown in the
figure.
18. hook the clip of the top-tether to the
car as shown in the sequence.
19. tighten the top-tether (as shown in the
figure) until the strap indicator is gReen (ok
the tension is correct). CAUTION: always
use all three anchoring systems (the two
lower ones and the top-tether) both
when traveling with your baby and when
carrying just the child safety seat by
itself. Note: check the child safety seat is
firmly secured to the car by pulling it with
your hands!

with the ISOFIX UNIVERSAL system
(art.163)
21. loosen the strap as shown in Fig. 21a,
then release the clip (21b).
22. press both of the buttons t1 and t2 at
the same time and pull the child safety seat.
23. Remove the child safety seat from the
car.
24. press t1 and at the same time press the
relevant connector inwards, repeat the
same operation for button t2.
Adjusting the backrest of the CHILD
SAFETY SEAT (art.162 and 163)
25. to adjust the angle of the backrest,
press lever "l" right down to move it to the
required position.
Adjusting the height of the harness
(art.162 and 163)
26. the harness must be adjusted
according to your child's size. Note: the
correct position of the harness is at or just
above your child's shoulders
drawing in Fig. 26).
27. Firstly, press the regulator button and
loosen the harness as much as possible.
28. pull lever v and at the same time
position the headrest according to your
child's height. CAUTION: check the
harness is positioned correctly (Fig.26)
