Transferring to the Patient
For determining the aesthetic angle, the
patient and dentist must stand face-to-
face. It is not possible to determine the
esthetic angle of the patient sitting or
lying in the dentist's chair. In the interest
of the patient, always attach the clinom-
eter to the facebow first, and then trans-
fer the face bow to the patient.
▷ Fit the Artex facebow with the mounted cli-
nometer to the patient. In this, centrally sup-
port the facebow with one finger, so that the
facebow does not tilt off transversally.
