Group 2-3, continue as follows:

6. FITTING THE CHILD CAR SEAT IN THE CAR AND
SEATING THE CHILD IN GROUP 2/3 (15-36 KG)
1. Place the child car seat onto the chosen forward-facing
car seat (Fig. 30)
2. Run the diagonal section of the seat belt behind the
headrest and through the relevant red belt routing (C)
under the headrest. Place your child carefully into the car
seat, and check that the child is sitting with his back cor-
rectly against the backrest of the child car seat.
3. Fasten the car seat belt in the buckle so that both the
waist and the diagonal sections of the belt pass in the
waist belt routings L (Fig. 31).
4. When adjusting the headrest, check that the position of
the diagonal seat belt guide (B) is positioned over the
shoulder at a distance of no more than 2 cm (Fig. 32).
5. Pull the diagonal car safety belt strap towards the retrac-
tor, to ensure the belt is tight and fitting properly over the
child's legs and chest (Fig. 33).
6. Check that the child car seat is fastened correctly (Fig. 34).
WARNING!
• Always check that the seat belt is distributed evenly in all
points and that it is not twisted.
• Check that the diagonal seat belt fits correctly across the
child's shoulder and does not press on the child's neck. If
necessary, adjust the headrest.
• Check that the car safety belt retractor is behind the back-
rest of the car seat (Fig. 35).
To remove a child from a Group 2 and 3 child car seat:
1. Release the car safety belt from its buckle.
2. Remove the car safety belt from the child's body.
3. Carefully remove the child from the car seat.
WARNING! If you do not intend to remove the child car
seat from the vehicle, fasten the car seat belts back into the
buckle, so that the child car seat remains fastened safely
inside the vehicle even without the child; this will avoid
danger during an accident or sudden braking of the car.
7. REFITTING THE HARNESS FOR SEATING IN GROUP
1 (9-18 KG)
Follow the instructions illustrated in sections 5 and 6 in the
opposite order.
8. ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE HEADREST
The height of the headrest can be adjusted to better adapt
the child car seat to the height of the child. When it is cor-
rectly adjusted, it ensures:
- That the child's head is always held in place and well pro-
tected (Gr. 1-2-3).
- That the child car seat safety harnesses are always at the
right height, that is the shoulder height (Gr. 1)
- That the diagonal car seat belts are always at the right
height with the belt routings incorporated in the headrest
C (Gr. 2-3).
To adjust the height of the headrest, turn the knob A fit-
ted at the top of the backrest until you reach the required
height (Fig. 16).
9. RECLINING
The child car seat has just one reclinable position.
To recline the child car seat, use the handle and slightly lift
the child car seat to change to reclined position (Fig. 36).
We recommend reclining the seat before seating the child.
WARNING: Make sure that the reclining system locks in
place by checking that the handle K returns back to place.
WARNING: After making the adjustments, make sure that
the harnesses are well tensioned.
