– connection of the room thermostat (TA) or timer-controlled
thermostat, after having removed the jumper between termi-
nals 4 and 5
– if a time programmer is used, remove the bridge between ter-
minals 5 and 8 and connect the programmer timer-controlled

WARNING
Sime ESTELLE HE ErP boilers are NOT equipped with
a system filling device. The system must be fitted with
a pressure gauge (A), to check that the (cold) water
pressure is between 1 and 1.2 bar (98–117.6 kPa) and
a loading/filling valve (B).

6.12.1 SYSTEM REFILL operations

Before carrying out filling interventions:
– check that the system's main switch is set to "OFF"
– check that the system drainage valve (1) is closed
– connect a pipe to the manual relief valve (2) and bring it to a
provisional drain
– manually open the manual relief valve (2) to facilitate the ex-
pulsion of air from the calorifier coil
– once the system filling phase has terminated, close the man-
ual relief valve (2)
– open the system filling valve (B)
– slowly charge the system until the pressure gauge (A), mount-
ed on the system, gives a reading (with the system cold) of 1
and 1,2 bar
– close the filling valve (B) and the manual bleed valve (2).
NOTE:
if the pressure exceeds the maximum value specified,
open the relief valve of any radiator (some water will come out)
until the correct value is reached.
