Cleaning the brew group

Warning: do not wash the brew group in the dishwasher and do not use dish-
washing detergents, since they may cause the malfunctioning of the brew group
and alter the coffee flavour.

Brew Group Cleaning under Running Water

1 Switch off the machine and unplug it.
2 Push the buttons on the sides of the drip tray (1) and remove it with the coffee
pucks container (2).
3 Open the maintenance door.
How to clean
under running water. Make sure that the machine
is switched on while emptying and cleaning the
coffee pucks container.
Clean it under running water.
Disconnect the machine and remove the brew
group. Open the pre-ground coffee container lid
and insert the handle of a spoon into the coffee
filling funnel. Move the spoon up and down until
the clogged ground coffee falls down, as shown
below.
