Drill Bits
• This sharpener works for 118°bits
WARNING
only. Attempting to sharpen bits with any other angle
will cause damage to the bit and sharpening stone.
Operation
1. Turn the knob (A) counterclockwise towards the
DOWN direction to set the stone in its lower position.
2. Insert the worn bit into the hole corresponding to its
diameter (B).
Inside each hole there are two guides (B
cutting edge of the bit is aligned with the edge of the
stone. Slightly rotate the drill bit inside the hole until it fits
into the guides
3. Install the switch to the ON ( I ) position so that the
stone starts to rotate.
4. Turn the knob clockwise (towards the UP direction)
while holding the bit with your hand, until you hear the
grinding sound.
5. Hold the drill bit firmly while making contact with the
stone for 10 seconds.
6. Remove the bit and turn it 180°.
7. Insert the bit again 10 more seconds to sharpen the
second edge.
• If necessary, repeat the operation until both edges are
sharp.
• Set the switch in the Off position ( ) to stop the stone.
• Turn the knob counterclockwise (towards the DOWN)
position) to set the stone in its lowest position (A).
• Always start the sharpening process with
WARNING
the stone in it lowest position. Do not operate the
equipment with the stone in its highest position without
any bit inserted in one of the orifices, otherwise the cover
may get damaged.
