DO NOT OVER-LUBE THE NEEDLE; transferring excess lube into the nozzle
may cause severe paint flow problems.
DO NOT use light machine oil or WD-40 for lubrication. These lubes cause
the needle to stick when it moves through the needle packing and can also
get into the air system.
13.2. Packing gland
To change the Head packing gland, the spraygun
must be clean and depressurized:
- Remove the Product regulator and
extract the needle.
- Unscrew the nozzle and loosen the nozzle with the supplied accessory wrench.
- Using a screwdriver, loosen the packing gland.
When releasing the packing gland, be careful, as the bushing comes out
with the spring. To assemble and place all the parts you can help yourself
with the needle, being careful not to mark it.
