07. Functional Description of the Equipment

The range of automatic spraygun Sagola V 4000 are presented as a light, compact, efficient so-
lution, to cover the basic needs of the industrial sector, has been developed and manufactured
under the strictest quality requirements to offer a reliable product with a high technical level,
made with high quality materials such as stainless steel and anodized aluminum.
The V 4000 is a production spraygun suitable for the use with automatic or semi-automatic ma-
chines in conventional, HVLP or Trans-tech applications.
This gun has a turn Quick detachable device, so to reduce maintenance & set up time. (SMED)
There are two versions DMM and DMR that can go with a base QCM and QCR:
07.1. DMM Version (Direct Mount Manual Fan Adjustment)
• Maximum speed of application for large productions.
• Allows working with high paint flows.
• In the standard version, the nozzle and the needle are made of stainless steel.
• There are versions with Tungsten carbide nozzle and needle for abrasive products.
High production conventional spray gun. Incorporate fan regulator and product regulator.
Applications
For tasks requiring a high opening and closure rate. Ideal to be used with robots and special
machinery.
Versions for highly corrosive or abrasive products (with tungsten carbide needle and nozzle).
Special for high speed and top quality finishes.
Application sectors
For the metal industry, plastic industry, automotive industry, ceramics.

Same features as the DMM version but including automated fan size regulation (an air inlet
replaces the manual regulator wheel), controlled by a three-way valve.
07.3. QCM - QCR Versions with base (Quick Change Manifold Manual - Quick Change Manifold
Robotic)
Same features as the DMM and DMR version but including a base that simplifies maintenance
and cleaning work. Quick disassembly system that allows the repositioning of the gun in the
same position keeping the setup parameters.
