20. To confirm your selection, push the "MODE" button.

The "GENDER" indicator will appear.
21. Enter whether you are male ("M") or female ("F") by push-
ing the "ST./STP." button or "SELECT" button.
22. To confirm your selection, push the "MODE" button.
The "BIRTH" indicator (year of birth) will appear.
23. Enter your year of birth by pushing the "ST./STP." button
(forward) or "SELECT" button (back).
24. To confirm your selection, push the "MODE" button.
The "METRIC UNIT" indicator (selection of the unit of mea-
sure) will appear.
