Solut ion
Plug t he power cord into a grounded 3 prong out let .
Press and release t he RESET but ton on t he power
supply cord.
Press t he Power but ton on t he Cont rol Panel or
Remote Cont rol to t urn ON t he air condit ioner.
Plug a working lamp into t he out let to check for
power.
Replace t he fuse or reset t he circuit breaker.
Cancel t he Time Delay. See "Cont rol Panel."
Empt y t he water t ank. See "Air Condit ioner
Care."
Replace t he bat teries.
Make sure t he bat teries are inserted in t he correct
posit ion.
Allow t ime for t he room to cool when you first t urn
on t he unit .
Make sure t he air condit ioner has an adequate
BTU rat ing for t he size of t he room being cooled.
Set t he Mode to Cool and t he Fan Speed to High.
Remove any obst acles to t he airflow and redirect
airflow for uniform cooling.
Lower t he set temperat ure.
Clean t he air filter. See "Air Condit ioner Care."
Check t he exhaust hose and window panel for
proper inst allat ion.
Close t he doors and windows to t he room being
cooled to prevent cooled air from escaping.
