INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. UNPACK AIR CONDITIONER
WARNING
Excessive Weight Hazard
• Use t wo or more people to move and inst all air
condit ioner.
• Failure to do so can result in back or ot her injury.
NOTE: Before using t he air condit ioner, keep it upright
for at least 2 hours.
• Remove packaging materials. Save t he carton and t he
foam packaging for storing t he air condit ioner when not
in use.
NOTE: There are NO packing materials inside t he air
condit ioner to remove—Do Not open t he cabinet .
• Properly dispose of/recycle all packing material.
• Handle t he air condit ioner gent ly.
• Keep t he air condit ioner upright and level. Do not set t he
air condit ioner on it s side, front , back or upside down.

1. Hold t he main
window panel so
t hat t he L- shaped
edges of t he panel
are facing you.
2. Align t he exhaust
nozzle wit h t he slot s in
t he opening, and t hen
insert and slide t he nozzle
t o access t he hole from
t he back of t he main
window panel.
3. Turn t he main window panel over, so t hat t he nozzle
is away from you. Insert
a flat t ip screw t hrough
t he hole t o fast en t he
window panel t o t he
adapt er.

NOTE: Measure t he window opening and use t he
ext ension panels as referenced on page 10 t o fit your
window.
1. Open t he window and place t he window kit assembly
int o t he window.
NOTE: The window assembly is designed t o
accommodat e eit her a double hung or sliding window.
2. Adjust t he ext ension panel(s) t o t he widt h or height of
t he window as shown.
3. Depending on t he number of ext ension panels used,
t urn t he knobs t o secure t he ext ension panel(s) t o t he
main panel. Inst all from t he back.
NOTE: There are many window t ypes on t he market
t oday. Use t he foam st rips and bracket s (provided) t o
secure t he ext ension panels t hat will fit t he window
opening.
