7 Fitting Advice

The instructions in this section are for practitioner use only.
The device is unable to maintain vacuum.
Consider the location of the valve on the definitive socket to suit the individual users unique
requirements. Most users having a preference of the valve positioned disto-medially and slightly
anteriorly in line with the adductor longus.
Symptom
1. Check the valve body is securely located
within the prosthetic socket.
2. Check the valve housing is seated
correctly into the recess.
3. Confirm the O-ring is correctly located
outside the valve body.
4. Dismantle and clean the valve.
