Use only VITO-approved attachable accessories for this
diesel tiller or technically identical parts. Failure to do
so may result in personal injuries or damages to the
diesel tiller. If necessary, they should be replaced by an
official distributor.
For safety reasons, the fuel system components (hose,
tap, tank, tank cap and couplings) should be inspected
regularly regarding damage and leaks. If necessary, they
should be replaced by an official distributor.
Always keep warning and information stickers clean and
legible.
Keep all nuts, pins and bolts well tightened in order to
ensure a safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance works, they must be repositioned
immediately.
When replacing the tines, pay attention to the type of
tines and if they match. Only use VITO-authorized tines.
Long-term storage
Allow the combustion engine to cool down before
putting the appliance in a closed compartment.
Never store the tiller with diesel in the tank inside a
building. Diesel vapors may come into contact with
flames or sparks and ignite.
Store the diesel tiller in a dry area, with the fuel tank
empty in a well-ventilated location.
If you want to empty the tank, for example before the
winter period, the fuel tank should only be emptied
outdoors.
Clean the machine thoroughly before storage,
especially on winter. Store the tiller in a good operating
condition.
Ensure that the diesel tiller is protected against misuse
(e.g., by children).
Technical Assistance
The diesel tiller should only be serviced by the brand's
technical assistance center, or other qualified
personnel, replacing any necessary parts with original
parts.
