For models that have a built-in lighter (5), this will be identified with
the symbol " ". To use this lighter, press the button on the lighter
and then press the knob of the burner you wish to use and turn it to
the "High" position.
Some models have a lighter built into each control knob. If this is the
case, the lighter will be present (5) but the switch will not (7) (the
symbol is located near each knob).
To turn off the burner, simply turn the knob to the off position.
If the burner is accidentally turned off, turn the control knob
to the off position and try to light the burner again after 1
minute. For safety reasons, it is recommended that you turn off the
gas supply if you are not using this appliance.
RECOMENDATIONS
Use of the burners
For best performance of the unit, follow the steps below:
 Use the appropriate cookware for each burner to prevent the
flame from reaching the sides of the pot or pan. (Use the table
below as a reference).
 Always use utensils with a flat bottom and keep the lid on at
all times.
