3. Setting up and moving

3.1 SETTING UP
Set-up location
The set-up location and place of use of the device must meet these requirements:
Dry and clean interior, free of explosive or flammable substances and dust
Temperature within the permitted range for operation (see technical data)
No obstacles or dangerous objects under or near the device,
No heat sources or vents under or near the unit,
Minimum distance to walls or objects 2 m (6.6 ft),
Flat, firm and non-slip surface; with protective mat for sensitive surfaces.
Aligning horizontally
To align the sBike horizontally, if necessary, carefully turn one or more foot stamps in or out a little:
Attach the open-end wrench to the foot stamp and twist the thread a little. Do not turn the foot stamp
out of the base.
Connecting to the electrical supply outlet
Insert the DC cable of the power supply unit into the socket in the main housing of the device.
Plug the AC cable of power supply into a suitable electrical outlet.
3.2 MOVING
Lift the device on the handle of the rear stand (110) until the
wheels (74) touch the ground.
CAUTION! Risk of injury and property damage due to improper
load, overturning and collision!
- Lift the device only on the handle, not on other components; in
particular not on the saddle, not on the dumbbell holder and not
on the clamping knob of the seat tube.
- Grab and lift the handle from the knees rather than from the
back.
Carefully roll the device to the desired location.
3.3 ADJUSTING
3.3.1 Adjusting saddle height
The saddle should be adjust to a height which allows to pedal comfortably without completely stretching
the legs. A slight bending of the knee is important to avoid overstretching and injury.
Turn the knob at the lower end of the seat tube slightly counterclockwise and pull the locking pin out.
Bring the seat tube to the desired height.
CAUTION! Risk of injury and property damage with unstable seat tube!
- Allow the seat tube to protrude out of the frame to a maximum extent where
the 'MAX' marking is just visible.
- The seat tube is not continuously adjustable: Make sure that the locking pin
of the knob engages in one of the holes of the seat tube.
Engage knob and tighten.
