Operating Instructions SATA LPS R 2000, SATA LPS RB 2000 RP, SATAminijet 1000 A S HVLP
Note!
The air and material supply must always be controlled externally.
The material connection for material circulation [1-5], [2-5] sealed with
a dummy plug is on the opposite side of the material connection [1-10],
[2-9]. The automatic gun is fixed in a spraying system with a fastening
bolt [4-2]. The material and air supply connection elements are not in-
cluded in the scope of supply and can be ordered on request.
7.1. Assembly
■ Before starting up, screw the fastening bolt [4-2] (supplied loose) in the
mounting hole [4-1] in the gun body and secure with screw glue (e.g.
Loctite 276) to prevent it from twisting.
■ Use the fastening bolt [4-2] to fix the automatic gun in the spraying
system.
■ Connect the control air to the control air connection [1-9], [2-8] of the
automatic gun (min. 3 bar) (connection dimensions see chapter 6).
■ Connect the spraying air to the spraying air connection [1-8], [2-10] of
the automatic gun (connection dimensions see chapter 6).
■ Connect the material supply to the material connection [1-10], [2-9] of
the automatic gun (connection dimensions see chapter 6).
7.2. Usage with material circulation
Note!
The following connection possibilities are recommended when using the
automatic gun with material circulation.
■ Insert a back-pressure regulator at the material output.
■ The cross-section of the material return pipe must be smaller than the
material feed pipe.
This ensures there is always plenty of material in the fluid tip.
Work with material circulation for materials with a strong tendency to set-
tle.
The material circulation keeps the material used moving and it does not
come to a standstill.
■ Disconnect the automatic gun from the compressed air circuit and the
material supply.
■ Unscrew the dummy plug [5-2] out of the gun body.
■ Mount the second material connection to the material connection for
