Operating Instructions SATA LPS R 2000, SATA LPS RB 2000 RP, SATAminijet 1000 A S HVLP
■ Connect the material supply to the material connection [1-10], [2-9].
■ Rinse the automatic gun with a suitable cleaning solution before using
for the first time (see chapter 11).
Note!
The cleaning solution should be compatible with the spraying material
being used, so that it is advisable to consult with the spraying material
supplier.
■ First check that the automatic gun switches flawlessly by using just air.
■ The necessary material pressure depends on viscosity, the required
thickness and quality of the coat, the length and cross section of the
feed hoses and the chosen nozzle size. Work with material circulation
for materials with a strong tendency to settle (see chapter 7.2).
■ Align the automatic gun to the object. The device is ready for use.
Note!
Test air caps are available from SATA to help adjust the spraying pa-
rameters (see chapter 14).
8.2. Normal operation
The automatic gun does not have an internal control. To start the spraying
process, first the control air and then the material supply must be opened.
The paint needle is then opened via the control pulse and the spraying
process is started. The end of the control pulse closes the paint needle
again and stops the spraying process. Material no longer flows. The con-
trol air then has to be closed. Before using the automatic gun, heed/check
the following points to warrant safe working with the gun:
■ The automatic gun is firmly fitted.
■ Minimum compressed air flow and pressure is warranted.
■ Clean compressed air is being used.
Adjust the gun inner pressure
Note!
If the gun input pressure does not reach the necessary level, increase
the pressure in the compressed air circuit.
Adjust the spraying air to the necessary input pressure.
