8. P ackaging, transport and delivery
All HB500 are shipped packaged in sealed cardboard boxes, intended to protect them from impacts and dust.
The packaging includes the HB500 in its basic configura on, fi ed with wheels and accessories, a service kit
for basic maintenance, and this user manual to which the guarantee card is a ached. The HB500 should be
transported using sealed transport methods which protect it from atmospheric agents, as reminded in the
instruc ons provided to this effect on the packaging. Upon delivery, check the integrity of the packaging:
Open the packaging and check to make sure that the wheelchair hasn't been damaged in transit. Once these
ini al checks, which are compulsory for the validity of the guarantee, have been carried out and if the HB500
isn't used soon a er, repackage it and store it in a dry place, in a storage area at a temperature between -15
°C and 50° C and RH lower than 80%. Do not lean or place objects on the packaging, as indicated via the
symbols featured on the packaging.
9. M aterial iden fica on
The HB500 is made using the following materials: aluminium, steel, tanium, polyurethane thermose ng
resins, and other composite materials. The sor ng and disposal of these materials must be carried out in
accordance with the current regula ons.
