4 Safety Precautions
WARNING
■ During charging, an incorrect mains voltage or
incorrect mains frequency can result in over‐
voltage in the portable power supply. The port‐
able power supply may be damaged.
► Make sure the mains voltage and mains fre‐
quency of the power supply comply with the
information on the portable power supply's
rating label.
► If the portable power supply is charged in a
vehicle, ensure that the mains voltage and
mains frequency in the vehicle comply with
the information on the portable power sup‐
ply's rating plate.
■ If the portable power supply is connected to a
power strip, electrical components may be
overloaded during the charging process. The
components may overheat and cause a fire.
Persons may be seriously or fatally injured,
and property may be damaged.
► Ensure that the technical specifications for
the power strip are not exceeded by the
information on the rating plate of the porta‐
ble power supply and of all electrical devi‐
ces connected to the power strip.
■ An incorrectly routed charging cable or exten‐
sion cable may get damaged and people can
trip over them. Persons may be injured and
the charging cable or extension cable may
become damaged.
► Route and mark the charging cable and
extension cable in such a way that people
cannot trip over it.
► Route the charging cable and extension
cable in such a way that they are not under
tension or tangled.
► Route the charging cable and extension
cable in such a way that that they will not
be damaged, bent, crushed, or rubbed.
► Protect the charging cable and extension
cable from heat, oil and chemicals.
► Lay the charging cable and extension cable
on a dry surface.
■ The extension cable warms up in operation. If
that heat cannot escape, it may cause a fire.
► If using a cable reel: completely unroll the
cable reel.
■ The portable power supply may be used and
charged in a vehicle. If the portable power
supply is improperly used or charged in a vehi‐
cle, vehicle parts may be damaged. This may
result in injury to people and damage to prop‐
erty.

► Secure the portable power supply in such a
way that it cannot tip over or move while the
vehicle is in motion.
► The portable power supply should not be
permanently installed in a vehicle or used in
this way long-term.
► Applicable national installation regulations
must be observed when connecting the
charger to the vehicle supply system.

Transport
WARNING
■ The portable power supply is not protected
against all environmental influences. If the
portable power supply is exposed to certain
environmental influences, it may be damaged
and property damage may occur.
