PRINCESS CLASSIC FONDUE 7 STEAMER
ART. 2290
Genuinely fun cooking appliance to add that extra dimension to the pleasure of dining. Griddle, fondue
and steamer in one. Offers something for everyone: the griddle has a built-in oil collection tray avoiding
an excess of oil and reducing smoke. The heavy cast iron pan is ideal for the perfect fondue but also
steams real Chinese vegetables and fish. The steam boat feature makes the appliance perfect for preparing
Oriental dishes. You can steam food and make delicious hotpots. The appliance is great for cooking
Chinese, Asian and Western-style food.
The set can be taken apart completely and has a non-stick coating to make cleaning a breeze. Complete
with 6 fondue forks, fondue ring and adjustable thermostat.
PARTS
- Grill plate
- Plastic casing
- Cord set
- Cast aluminium fondue pan
- 6 fondue forks
- Metal drip-tray
- "Bamboo" steam basket
- Glass lid for pan
BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.
Remove any stickers and wash all parts before use (except the electric part) in warm soapy water and
rinse well.
Do not use sharp objects in the fondue pan or on the griddle, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
Use the forks to prick the ingredients only, avoiding the pan itself.
Note:
During cooking, the temperature light will flicker. This is normal and shows that the thermostat is wor-
king properly and the temperature is being adjusted. Remove the plug from the socket when the heating
base is not in use.
Make sure the griddle is placed on a sturdy table or other stable surface. Do not place it on a (hot) stove
or hob. Place the plug into the socket and set the thermostat button to the desired temperature. It will take
around 10 minutes to heat up. You can use this time to prepare the ingredients. When the griddle reaches
the correct temperature, the temperature lamp will illuminate.
Allow the parts to cool down before putting the set away.
GRIDDLE
The cooking time and temperature setting will depend on the chosen dish or ingredients.
You can, of course, experiment with the cooking time and the temperature setting to get
the best results. In general, you should select the maximum temperature for meat and fish.
Small pieces of meat, fish etc. will be cooked through faster than large pieces. Turn meat
and fish once only in order to prevent them from drying out. For the same reason it is bet-
ter to use a spatula than to prick with a fork. Use a wooden or (heat resistant) plastic spatu-
la on the griddle. The griddle features drip holes and a dish to collect the grease.
FONDUE & STEAMER
Together with the accessories supplied, the pan is perfect for using as a 'steamboat' for
cooking Asian hotpot or Chinese fondue and steamed dishes.
