This pan is not suitable for European-style fondue, such as meat fondue, chocolate fondue or cheese fon-
due! It is also not suitable for oil-based fondues, but only for fondues based on stock (bouillon), such as
Chinese fondue and Hotpot.
Dishes can be rapidly steamed by placing the food into the basket and positioning the basket on the pan.
The steam cooks everything perfectly. It preserves the taste and the vitamins as the flavours are unable to
dissolve away into the steam. This makes it easy to cook Oriental dishes such as Dim-sum and Bao-pau.
You can also prepare vegetables, meat, fish, poultry and potatoes using the same method.
The pan can also be used to cook potatoes, rice and vegetables in the European style as well as soups and
sauces. It is also possible to cook soups and sauces.
KEEPING WARM
You can basically use any type of pan or heat-resistant dish on the hotplate to keep sauces and meals
warm. Set the thermostat to a low temperature!
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING.
The set can be taken apart completely to make cleaning a breeze. You can clean the fondue pan and the
griddle in soapy water. Do not use any abrasive cleaning products or scourers. Cleaning tip: Pour a cup of
water and a drop of dish washing liquid in the pan or onto the griddle. Set the temperature at the lowest
setting and leave it for about ten minutes. Then switch it off and rinse well. The heating element base
must be kept dry. Clean it with a damp cloth, as necessary.
