Safety
This chapter provides an overview of all important safety aspects for protecting personnel as well as for
safe operation of the machines.
Prior to the initial operation, ensure that every user carefully reads and complies with these instructions
and the operating instructions from the implement and the tractor manufacturer. All documents must be
kept close at hand.
Failure to observe the handling instructions and safety instructions in these instructions may lead to
serious hazards.
Proper handling of the PTO drive shaft ensures the reliability and service life of the product.
All of the PTO drive shaft components (e.g. the overload and overrunning clutches) are designed spe-
cifically for the implement and performance and may not be replaced by components other than those
stipulated by Walterscheid. Always use Walterscheid original parts when replacing damaged or missing
parts, observing the applicable regulations and after consultation with Walterscheid.
NOTE!
Material damage as a result of incorrect assembly!
► To prevent damage in the drive train as a result of incorrect assembly, observe the
notes in these instructions.
