Observe the lubrication in accordance with the lubrication intervals on page 40.
c. For the PG guard – Push the guard cone on (see 523 – Figure 2).
For the SD/ST guard – Push the guard half with the guard cone on
(see page 63 - Figures 2 and 3)

PTO drive shaft with intermediate bearing ring.

Loosen the PTO drive shaft guard with the intermediate bearing ring and push it off the PTO drive
shaft.
Clean the race ring and the intermediate bearing ring attached to the profile tube. Then grease
everything again.
Push the PTO drive shaft guard back onto the PTO drive shaft and tighten it
4.1.2 Lubrication of the profile tube
If there is no cover and/or lubrication nipple available (on the profile tube), pull the
PTO drive shaft apart, disassemble the halves of the shaft with the inner profile tube
from the guard and lubricate the inner profile. Observe the lubrication intervals on
page 42 in this document.
1. Push the cover back.
2. Twist the PTO drive shaft and the guard towards each other until the lubricating nipple is in the
opening of the guard. For star profiles, lubricate both lubricating nipples (offset by 180°)!
3. After lubricating, close the opening of the guard with the cover.
