Material damage and failure of the joint due to exeeding the
maximum joint angle!
► Do not bend the joint past the maximum permissible angle, neither whilst in operation
or at a standstill.
Exceeding the joint angle specified in Chapter 2.3.1 on page 33 results in premature wear and damage
to the PTO drive shaft. If a larger joint angle is required, it is necessary to consult Walterscheid.

During operation, strive for small and equal joint
angles. In the case of large and uneven joint
angles, switch off the PTO.
A combination of Z and W bends is not
permissible.
For PTO drive shafts with a wide angle joint:
The pivot between the tractor and the device
should be the same as the pivot of the wide angle
joint (1).
The single joint should run stretched (2).
