5. Overvoltage protection (OVP)
To switch on the overvoltage protection press the OVP button (3). An illuminated OVP
indicator (12) indicates that the protection is switched on. To switch off the
overvoltage protection briefly press the OVP button again (3). The indicator will go off.
- to check the OVP values or make changes to the values, press and hold the OVP
button (3) for 3 seconds. Current OVP values for CH1 and CH2 channels will be
displayed. Turn the knobs (8 and 9) to change OVP values . To exit the configuration
setting function, press and hold the OVP button (3) again for 3 seconds.
CAUTION! If protection is switched on and the voltage values exceed the configured
maximum levels, the output will be cut off.
6. Control panel lock
To lock the front panel, press and hold the voltage adjustment knob (9) for 3 seconds,
pressing and holding the knob again for 3 seconds will unlock the panel.
7. Audible signal
To turn on the audio signal, press and hold the amperage adjustment knob (8) for 3
seconds, pressing and holding the knob again for 3 seconds will turn off the audio
signal.
8. Remote control
a) Switching on remote control
- install software from the CD disk
- configure COM port of the computer, apply the following settings:
Baud rate: 9600
Parity bit None
Data bit 8
Stop bit 1
Data flow control: None
- Connect power supply to the computer via USB or RS232 port. The device
should automatically connect to the computer, and device's control panel
will become inactive. Parameters will be editable only on the computer.
