4.4 Error relay option

• Activate the „Error relay" option by selecting „Error rel."
in the „Settings/Fnc. R5" menu.
When the controller detects a fault, the error relay is switched
off. These errors are:
fuse
• !Draw sen. def.
• !T-R defect.
mains
• !T-St defect.
terminals
!EEPROM
All modules are switched on in the case of a „!Draw sen. def."
or „EEPROM" fault.
The relay remains switched off in the case of a temperature
sensor fault (return connection).
The „Module 1 ... 4" option can be selected in the settings
menu. Select „Yes" in order to make the desired module
available. Afterwards, the mode of the corresponding module
has to be adjusted (see „Manual operation").
The function of relay 5 („Fnc. R5) can be selected in the
settings menu.
• Select „None" in order to allocate no function
• Select „Error rel." in order to use R5 as an error relay
• Select „Ret. con." in order to use R5 for the return connec-
tion option
When the function „Error relay" or „Return connection"
is selected, the relay mode can be adjusted in the „Manual
operation" menu.
All or individual modules can be switched on, switched off or
put into automatic mode in the „Manual operation" menu. For
this purpose, the corresponding modules have to be activated
(„Module option") .
When the „Error relay" function or the „Return connection"
function has been selected in the „Function R5" menu, the
relay can be switched on or off or put into automatic mode.
