GENERAL USE & SAFETY WARNINGS
Warning! While using agricultural equipment,
several basic safety precautions must always be
followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
and personal injuries.
Read and understand the manual prior to
operating this tiller. Save these instructions and
other documents supplied with this machine for future
reference.
General
These preventive measures are essential for your
safety, always use the tiller with care, in a responsible
manner.
This tiller, accessories included, may only be used by
whom have read the instruction manual and by whom
is familiar with its handling. Before using it, the user
must be instructed by the vendor or other competent
person about the use of the machine. This instruction
manual is an integral part of the tiller and must always
be provided.
Get familiar with the tiller's control devices and
operation. The user must know how to stop the tiller
and the combustion engine immediately.
Use the tiller only if you are in good physical and mental
conditions. Do not use this or other agricultural
machines if you are tired or under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medication. If you suffer from any
health problem, please ask your doctor about the
possibility of using the tiller.
Never allow the tiller to be used by children, people
with limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities,
with lack of experience and knowledge of the tiller and
whom is not familiar with the instructions.
The tiller is designed for soil preparation and
sowing. This machine must only be used as
described in this instruction manual.
No other use is allowed besides the described.
For safety reasons, any changes other than the
assembly

manufacturer are prohibited. Any changes made void

A massive load of vibrations may damage nervous
and circulatory systems, specially to whom have
circulatory problems. Inform your doctor if any
symptoms arise caused by vibration. Among these
symptoms, that occur specially on fingers, hand and
wrists, are also included loss of sensation, pain, muscle
weakness, skin discoloration or tingling sensation.
While operating the machine, schedule some time to
rest and avoid using the tiller for long periods of time.
Permanent vibration is very harmful.
Fueling and handling
Petrol is toxic and highly flammable. Keep petrol in
appropriate and homologated containers. Always
tighten the container cap. Damaged covers must be
replaced.
Never use bottles to remove or store service products,
such as fuel. Someone, particularly the children, may be
mistakenly taken to drink them.
Keep petrol away from sparks, flames, heat
sources or other sources of ignition. Do not smoke
nearby petrol containers or machines, nor during the
filling process.
Drain out and refuel machine's fuel tank only outdoors.
Before refueling, turn off the engine and allow it to cool
down.
Always fuel the tank before starting the combustion
engine. While the engine is running, it is not allowed to
open the tank cap or refuel with petrol.
Do not overfill the fuel tank. The fuel needs room to
expand, therefore never add fuel above the bottom
edge of the filler. Additionally, follow the combustion
engine instructions described in this manual.
In case of overflow, clean any spilled fuel immediately.
The combustion engine should only be started after the
surface is completely cleaned. Any attempt to ignite
should be avoided until the petrol steams have
volatilized (dry with cloth).
If petrol was spilled over clothing it must be changed.
