TORQUE METER. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE SAFETY STANDARDS AND
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN
SERIOUS INJURY.

PURPOSE OF USE
- The electronic torque meter can be used for the following purposes:
• measuring the driving torque to check settings or calibration, on torque screwdrivers/wrenches
• right-hand and left-hand operation.
- The electronic torque meter must not be used for the following operations:
• must not be used above the expected operating range
• must not be used for any applications other than recommended ones
WORK AREA SAFETY
Do not operate the torque meter in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres,
because sparks may be generated, which can ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children away from the torque meter.
Do not use the torque meter in humid or wet environments; do not expose it to rain. Humid and
contaminated environments result in increased risk of electric shock.
Before using the torque meter, make sure that it has been properly fixed to a suitable structure.
See 'Installation diagram'.
TORQUE METER USE AND CARE
- Do not use the torque meter if it is damaged or if it is not working properly. Do not try to open or modify
it, because electric shocks may occur.
- Connect the power cord to the mains socket; check that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated
on the power supply device.
- Unplug the torque meter when not in use.
- Do not apply a torque higher than the maximum permissible torque.
- Do not allow persons unfamiliar with these instructions to operate the torque meter.
- Do not modify the torque meter. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase
operator risk.
- Have the torque meter repaired only through a trained repair person and only using original
replacement parts.
