Assembly and Disassembly

Danger of injury if assembled under pressure or
voltage!
Assembling when under pressure or electrical voltage
can lead to injuries and damage to the product or
system components.
O Make sure that the relevant system part is not under
voltage or pressure before you assemble the
product.
O Protect the system against being switched on.
Danger of personal injury due to uncontrolled
movements!
O The valve system can come loose from the DIN rail
through vibration, shock or oscillating loads.
The loose parts can lead to injury and damage to
equipment.
O Make sure that the DIN rail is not subject to
vibration, shock or oscillating loads.
Exceeding the maximum amount of module equipment
The valve system must not be equipped with more than
the maximum number of components to prevent
damage caused by oscillations and vibrations during
operation.
O After maximum equipment of the valve system, we
recommend no longer assembling the valve system
on a DIN rail (see table "Maximale Bestückung des
Ventilsystems").

Assembling the valve system on the
DIN rail
1
Always observe the following points:
O Always observe the operating instructions for your
valve system during assembly.
O Ensure that enough free space is left for the electrical
and pneumatic connections so that the permissible
minimum bending radii for the cables and tubing are
adhered to.
Select a type of fastening that corresponds to the
load (vibrating, shock or oscillating load)!
To mount the valve system on a DIN rail:
1. Fix the clamps to the valve system end plates with
2x M4 x 8 hexagon socket screws for AV and AES or
M4 x 16 for ES05 (
2.5 ±0.2 Nm). Pay attention to correct clamp
orientation.
2. Suspend the upper part of the clamps on the DIN rail
and lower the clamps until they engage
3. Fix the hexagon screw M3 x 14 ( , 2) so that the clamp
does not move (tightening torque: 0.1 +0.05 Nm).

Loosened mounting screws on the valve system
There is a danger that the valve system may be
loosened from the clamps and damaged if the mounting
screws are completely unscrewed during disassembly.
O Secure the valve system during disassembly against
falling.
1. Make sure the system is not under pressure or voltage
before disassembly.
2. Loosen all connections on the valve system.
3. Press on the top of the clamps
system with the clamps upwards towards the front
4. Release the four hexagon socket screws
and remove the clamps from the valve system.
6
Disposal
Comply with national regulations regarding disposal.
