By pressing the DATA CHANGE key, it is possible to change the
welding parameters not shown. The status bar is replaced by the
data setting line.
In the graph, the welding parameters
to be changed are clearly shown.
The entry line contains the name and numerical
value of the parameter to be modified. With the
T6 keys the parameter required is selected; set
new value and confirm it with the ENTER key. At
the end of the operation, the status bar will
appear again.

NOTES
Initial increment
This is linked to the
type of joint and the
material to be wel-
ded.
Crater filler
A higher voltage cor-
responds to a hotter
weld and a longer
arc.
Slope of the current

Increasing
values give a softer
arc and less spatter.

Final burnback
This must be set to a
time of the wire

portional
speed of the wire.
Motor start
Starting speed of the
wire, expressed as a
percentage of the
speed set, which is
maintained until the
arc is struck.
Frequency of repeti-

increases.
Post gas time
Duration of gas flow
time after the
has been extinguis-
hed, at the end of
welding.
Welding time
Can be set in TIMER
mode.
Base current
Keeps the arc. A
higher value gives a
hotter weld.
Peak current
It is the peak current
that
transfer of material
to the weld pool.
The value depends
on the type of mate-
rial and gas used.
