This documentation is intended for installers and contains important information on
the safe and appropriate assembly of the product.

The product has been manufactured according to the accepted rules of current
technology. Even so, there is a risk of injury or damage if the following general safety
instructions and the specific warnings given in this instruction manual are not
observed.
O Keep these instructions in a location where they are accessible to all users at all
times.
O Always include the assembly instructions when you pass the product on to third
parties.
Safety information can be found in the document "Notes on Safety" (R412015575)
included with your valve system.
O Also always observe the information contained therein.

Intended use
The product is only intended for installation in the AV valve system.
The product may only be commissioned once it has been properly assembled into
the AV valve system.

Use is permitted only under the operating conditions and within the performance
limits listed in the technical data.

The product is technical equipment and is intended for professional use only.
Personnel qualifications
All tasks associated with the product require basic mechanical, pneumatic and
electrical knowledge, as well as knowledge of the respective technical terms. In
order to ensure operational safety, these tasks may only be carried out by qualified
personnel or an instructed person under the direction of qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are those who can recognize possible hazards and institute the
appropriate safety measures, due to their professional training, knowledge, and
experience, as well as their understanding of the relevant regulations pertaining to
the work to be done. Qualified personnel must observe the rules relevant to the
subject area.

To avoid injuries due to unsuitable spare parts, only use accessories and spare
parts approved by AVENTICS.

You may only commission the product if you have determined that the end
product (such as a machine or system) in which the AVENTICS products are
installed meets the country-specific provisions, safety regulations, and
standards for the specific application.

Installation may only be performed in a voltage-free and pressure-free state and
only by a qualified technician. Always carry out the installation in a pressure-free
state to avoid dangerous movements.

Only commission the valve system with extension after it has been fully
assembled, including all tubing connections and correct wiring, and after re-
checking all connections for proper fit.

hex socket-head screw (not for AV-BP), and extension circuit board
