Bleeding the rear brake fl uid

WARNING
WARNING
Brake fl uid is highly corrosive, therefore remove any spillage that may have come into contact with
parts of the motorbike.
The rear brake fl uid reservoir is located next to the
kick-start lever.
WARNING
To inspect the fl uid correctly, make sure the motor-
cycle is in an upright position.
To top up the fl uid:
- Remove the threaded cap from the reservoir
- Remove the internal rubber and the pressure ring.
- Top up the fl uid.

Type of brake fl uid: DOT4.
WARNING
The brake fl uid level must be between the MIN and
MAX marks
To bleed the rear brake system:
A
- Remove the reservoir cap (see previous section).
- Remove the black protective cap
- Press the rear brake pedal
- Slightly loosen the protected device
black bleed nipple positioned next to the hose at-
tachment.
- Repeat various times until the air has been elimi-
nated from the fl uid circuit.

- Refi t the black protective cap
- Refi t the reservoir rubber and cap.
Place a cloth under the bleed nipple to absorb the
fl uid.
