ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC)
Product has been tested for compliance with current regulatory standards regarding its capacity to
block EMI (electromagnetic interference) from external sources.
Some procedures can help reduce electromagnetic interferences:
•
Use only Arjo cables and spare parts to avoid increased emissions or decreased immunity
which can compromise the correct functioning of the equipment.
•
Ensure that other devices in patient-monitoring and/or life-support areas comply to
accepted emissions standards.
WARNING: Wireless communications equipment such as wireless computer network devices,
mobile phones, cordless telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies, etc. can
affect this equipment and should be kept at least 1.5m away from the equipment.
Intended Environment: Home Healthcare Environment and Professional Healthcare facility
environment.
Exceptions: HF Surgical Equipment and the RF Shielded room of an ME SYSTEM for magnetic
resonance imaging
WARNING: Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be
avoided because it could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary,
this equipment and the other equipment should be observed to verify that they are
operating normally.
