5. MAIN MEASUREMENT FUNCTIONS

5.1 Measurement of heights, diameters and centre
distances
Press the Enter key to select the measurement mode for
heights, diameters and centre distances. The corresponding icon
is indicated

5.2 Vertical measurements

H1 = Downward vertical measurement ( )
H2 = Upward vertical measurement ( )
H12 = Incremental dimension
1. Select vertical mode.
2. Perform zero-setting or input a preset value for a reference
surface (see Chapters 5.11 and 5.4.2).
3. Probe the surface downward or upward. The increasing me-
asurement force is shown on the probe indicator. Once the
correct measurement force has been reached, an acoustic signal
confirms that the measurement has been taken.
Comment:
The measured height is indicated in the upper display field.
The lower display field shows the distance to the previous ver-
tical measurement (incremental dimension). The display mode
can be configured (see Chapter 6.7).
