6. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

6.1 Squareness measurement

The measuring slide has to be blocked and then released prior to making
a squareness measurement.
6.1.1 With universal dial test indicator
1. Insert a universal dial test indicator in the probe holder.
2. Position the probe of the universal dial test indicator at the surface
to be checked and set the dial test indicator to zero.
3. Vertically move the measuring slide to determine squareness.
The instrument has to be positioned perfectly parallel to the surface
to be measured to ensure maximum accuracy.

6.2 Measurement history (buffer)

6.2.1 Buffer access
Each completed measurement is saved to a buffer where 99 values
can be stored. As soon as this number is reached, the oldest value
will be replaced by the next new measurement.
Press and hold the button shown for 2 seconds to access the buffer.
Press and hold the same button for 2 seconds to exit the buffer.
6.2.2 Buffer navigation
The buttons next to one another can be used for buffer navigation.
Each value is indicated as detailed below:
- 1st display row: position in buffer and function
- 2nd display row: measured value
