Only the operator, who has read and un-
derstood the manual in all its parts, is au-
thorised to stand within this area and to
occupy the only operating position, locat-
ed behind the handlebar, holding it firmly.
The operator must check the surround-
ing area before starting the machine and
must pay particular attention to children
and animals.
Before starting work on a certain area,
clean it of foreign objects.
Always pay attention to the ground and
the surrounding area when working. If un-
desired and/or dangerous objects are de-
tected, switch off the machine and secure
it before leaving the operating position to
remove them, being sure to prevent the ma-
chine from starting, moving or tipping over.
2.4 CLOTHING
INFORMATION!
The procurement of such personal pro-
tective equipment is the sole responsibil-
ity of the customer or employer.
During machine use and maintenance
operations:
The operator MUST always wear suitable
safety shoes, gloves, and hearing protec-
tion devices and wear long, resistant trou-
sers and safety goggles.
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, jewelry,
ties, scarves, dangling drawstrings
could get caught by the equipment . Tie up
your hair.
During unpacking and assembly:
The operator MUST always wear resistant
safety shoes, gloves, and clothing.

tion, replace them if damaged.

5. HANDLING AND PACKAGING
2 or more people are required to handle
packaging, using the handles on the card-
board box. The GROSS weight is indicated
in the "TECHNICAL FEATURES" chapter.
CAUTION!
Do not overturn or roll the machine. Pos-
sible damage to bonnets and mechanical
parts.
INFORMATION!
If more than one machine or inter-
changeable equipment is supplied on
pallets, unload without dropping them
on the ground. Use a forklift if neces-
sary.

Assembly of the driving lever:
The driving cable (x) is already linked to
the driving lever. Please tighten the lever
on the handlebar using the screw (p) you
can find into the loose parts bag.
CAUTION!
Pay attention to the correct positioning
of the cable!

Throttle assembly: unscrew
the screw and nut from the throttle and
then screw it back onto the handlebar.

Tool engagement cable as-
that
sembly: The driving cable (z) is already
linked to the black level placed under
the frame and link it to the lever which is
placed on handlebar in the following way:
- Insert the eyelet of the cable into the
screw, then tighten with the nut, taking
care not to block the movement of the
eyelet.
- First, give a strong pull to the cable, then
make the cable pass into the nib cut-hole
leaving the adjusting nuts as shown in the
picture.
CAUTION!
During the first machine assembly, the
two nuts on the register "S" must be
screwed down to the end as in the pictu-
re. After a few hours of use, the register
must be adjusted in order to obtain the
correct belt tension: for this purpose, ca-
refully follow the instructions in chapter
10.1 CABLE ADJUSTMENT.
CAUTION!
Tightening the bolt completely can lead
to cable breakage (z). Leave the eyelet
free to rotate.

Pay attention to the correct positioning
of the cable!

Gear lever assembly: After
removing the washer and safety pin/split
pin from the end of the gear lever (D), first
pass the gear lever (D) through the hole
in the handlebar, then insert the end of
the gear lever (D) into the hole in the gear
rod joint. Finally, secure the gear lever (D)
with the previously removed washer and
the safety pin.

Link the terminal (k) of the
cable (j) connected to the ignition switch
to the connector (w) of the engine. Tighten
the clamp (r) on the handlebar around
the forward control and tool engagement
cables.

Accessory assembly: The
multi-functional unit is equipped with a
quick connection for accessories. With
the motor switched off and the machine
in a horizontal position, insert the tool pin
into the machine seat

Hook the springs into the hole
of the tool couplings, levering the spring
insertion ring into the hole of the tool cou-
pling as shown in the figure (position 1
and position 2). The belts and protective
deflectors must then be fitted according
to the tool fitted. The entire procedure is
described in the respective tool use and
maintenance manuals.
DANGER!
Both springs must be correctly engaged
for the brake system to function properly.

If one or both springs break, replace
them before using the machine.

Tool coupling seat: clean
and grease the seat after each use using
the greasing nipple.
CAUTION!
The motor is supplied without lubricat-
ing oil
