General Maintenance
WARNING
Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws,
nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not operate this
product until all missing or damaged parts are replaced. Please contact customer service an
authorized service center for assistance.
Cleaning
The tool should be cleaned after each use to prevent contamination and residue build up. And
it may be cleaned most effectively with compressed dry air.

Draining the drum:
a. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
b. Use a coin to loosen and remove the draining hole plug on the drum.
c. Rotate the drum of the tool so that the draining hole is facing down, allow any liquid inside
the drum to pour down a drain or into a container approved for liquid waste.
d. Reattach the draining hole plug to the rear drum using a coin.

Cleaning the Cable
The cable should be thoroughly flushed with water after every use to prevent damaging effects
of sediment and drain cleaning compounds.

After washing, dry the cable completely. Then, wipe cable with an oiled rag before returning it
to the drum.
Storage
Store the tool indoors or well covered in rainy weather in a place that is inaccessible to
children and people unfamiliar with drain cleaners. Keep away from corrosive agents.
