2.5 RESIDUAL RISK
Important note: Although the safety instructions and operating manuals for our tools contain
detailed instructions on how to safely work with power tools, each power tool carries a certain
residual risk that cannot be entirely excluded by the safety mechanisms. Therefore, power tools
should always be operated with caution!
2.6 CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY
Caution:
Risk of electric shock. Do not open. This appliance is supplied with a molded 2-pin power plug
for your safety.
The t is marked on the face of the plug pin. In case the fuse needs to be replaced, make sure
the substitute has the correct rating, approved for BS1362 and ASTA or BS Kite.
The fuse cover is removable with a small at screwdriver. Be sure to replace the fuse cover
before trying to connect the plug to an outlet. If the cover is missing, a replacement must be
obtained or the plug must be replaced with a suitable type.
If a replacement plug is to be installed, this must be done by a quali ed electrician.
The damaged or incomplete plug, when the cable is cut, must be deactivated to avoid connec-
tion to a power outlet.
This device is designed to be connected to a power source that matches what is detailed on the
rating label and is compatible with the installed plug.
If an extension cord is required, use an approved and compatible cord rated for this appliance.
Follow all instructions supplied with the extension cord.
Double Insulation: This product does not require grounding as additional insulation is applied
to the basic insulation to protect against electric shock in the event of failure of the basic insula-
tion.
