6. PREPARING THE ORBITAL JIG SAW
6.1 BLADE INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT
The orbital jig saw can be used for a variety of applications, so choosing the right blade is impor-
tant. This jig saw use a quick blade change mechanism, which is incorporated into the clear plas-
tic dust guard on the front of the machine.
- Turn the spring loaded plastic dust guard to the open position. The blade clamp will rotate
accordingly to allow insertion of the blade.
- With the rear edge of the blade located in the groove on the blade support roller (6), slide the
blade up into the blade clamp with the teeth facing out.
- Release the plastic dust protector to hold and lock the blade in place.
Note: This jigsaw will only t bayonet blades.
7. BASIC OPERATIONS OF THE ORBITAL JIG SAW
7.1 TRIGGER SWITCH AND LOCK BUTTON OPERATION
To operate the saw:
- Press the on / o switch (1).
For continuous saw operation:
- Press the on / o switch () while pressing the continuous lock button (2).
