- Release the on / o switch: the saw will now run in continuous operation.
- Press the ON / OFF button (1) to stop the saw. Always wear ear protectors during use.

7.2 VARIABLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT - FIG. 4
The variable speed adjusting disc is conveniently located near the top of the handle section, so
the operator can use his thumb to adjust the speed while the saw is running.
- There are 6 speed settings available. Position 1 is the slowest, to position 6 the fastest.
7.3 ORBITAL / PENDULUM ADJUSTMENT - FIG. 5
The pendulum action acts on the back of the blade to aid performance and cutting speed.
The 3 adjustable settings provide faster and more e cient cutting actions on a wide range of
wood and plastic or PVC materials. The orbital motion of the cutting blade cuts through the
workpiece on the upward stroke, but does not drag across the workpiece on the downward
stroke.
- Turn the orbital / pendulum adjustment switch (9) to activate the required adjustment.
Position 1 applies a small amount of pendulum action, resulting in a smoother nish cut - this
will be at a slower cut speed.
