CAUTION
• Read the instructions for storage in the operating and maintenance manual for the machine with the pump.
After using it for the last time, clean out the pump by taking up clean water. Never store the pump with
pumped fluid inside it.
•
THE PUMP IS SENSITIVE TO FROST.
In cold environments, protect the pump by preventing the formation of ice inside the pump by taking up antifreeze
(diluted appropriately for the envisaged temperature). Drain it completely by running it dry for several minutes.
WARNING
• Dispose of antifreeze properly.
WARNING
• Cleaning and maintenance can only be carried out after you have completed the steps described in the section

CAUTION
• During operation, the pump should not be excessively noisy and there must be no visible leaks of water or
oil underneath it.
Should this occur, have the machine checked by a
If one or more diaphragms split, the mechanical parts of the pump may be damaged by the pumped liquids.
Signs of possible diaphragm rupture include:
• the oil is whitish in colour (indicating there is water in the oil);
• excessive consumption of oil.
CAUTION
• To prevent the damage caused by diaphragm rupture, stop using the pump immediately and contact a
